The traditional archery world cup trophy has been donated to the museum

A memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed between the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Federation of Traditional Archery.

The staff of the National Museum welcomed the delegation led by Nartai Aralbayuly, Member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and President of the Kazakhstan Federation of Traditional Archery. This agreement is one of the initiatives aimed at reviving ancestral traditions and promoting national values on a broader scale.

According to the Museum Director, Berik Abdygaliuly, the initiative will not only help preserve the national heritage but also instill it more deeply into the consciousness of the younger generation.

One of the largest projects within the framework of this cooperation will be a fundamental publication dedicated to the history of traditional archery. The future edition will comprehensively explore the evolution of archery from the Stone Age to the present day, including rare historical materials and unique artifacts, offering a new perspective on the rich heritage of this national sport.

Recently, a traditional archery club for children was opened within the museum. This initiative plays an important role in fostering a heroic spirit and respect for ancestral traditions among the younger generation.

During the event, the victory trophy of Kazakhstan’s national team, which won the first Traditional Archery World Cup held in Korea, was officially donated to the museum’s collection. In the future, this trophy will be displayed to museum visitors as a valuable historical exhibit.

The National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will continue to initiate such meaningful projects and carry on its mission of promoting the nation’s spiritual heritage and cultural identity.
