The students learned about the food and items used by astronauts

The Department of Museum Pedagogy and Children’s Creativity, placing special emphasis on the education and development of the younger generation, held a museum lesson titled «Courage and Dream: The Heroic Path of Kazakh Cosmonauts» as part of the «Shanyrak» project. The event was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the birth of Talgat Musabayev and the 80th anniversary of Toktar Aubakirov.

The lesson was attended by 7th-grade students of the Republican Physics and Mathematics School (25 children).

April 12 is a historic date marking humanity’s first step toward space exploration. It is a victory of science and courage. The topic of space is directly connected to the field of astronomy. Thanks to modern technologies, astronomical research is reaching new heights, and information about space is being constantly updated.

During the lesson, physics teacher of the «Space Science» Space School, Madi Omarov, shared interesting facts about astronomy and the universe and introduced the school’s educational program.

The students became closely acquainted with museum exhibits, including food products used by Kazakh cosmonauts, photographs, and personal belongings.

A 7th-grade student, Rakhman Abduali, read the poem «I Believe in Youth», after which the children answered specially prepared quiz questions.

Guests were awarded certificates of appreciation and gifts. The lesson concluded with a guided tour of the museum halls. The children left with strong impressions and in high spirits.
