The National Museum will host an exhibition titled «Exiled to the steppe: The fates of Polish exiles and their families in Kazakhstan».
The exhibition will feature personal documents belonging to deported Poles, memoirs and written accounts, photographs, as well as certificates documenting the rehabilitation of victims of political repression.
The event is jointly organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Astana, the National Museum, the Museum of the Second World War, the Museum of Siberian Memory, and the Ch. Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology.
The exhibition will be open to visitors until September 20.
