Exhibition «Aqjaiyq olkem»

A solo exhibition titled «Aqjaiyq olkem» by renowned artist and Honored Cultural Worker Nurbek Zhardemov has opened at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the opening ceremony, Akmaral Ibrayeva, Deputy Director for Research at the National Museum of the RK, highlighted that the artist’s distinctive style lies in combining Kazakhstan’s national culture and traditions with contemporary artistic trends, allowing him to present the unique character of the country’s visual arts to the public. She congratulated the artist on the opening of the exhibition and wished him continued success.

Kuanyshbek Mukhangaliev, Head of the Department of Culture, Language Development and Archives of the West Kazakhstan Region, noted that hosting such a major exhibition is a significant achievement for the Akzhaiyk region. He also expressed his gratitude to the National Museum and everyone involved in organizing the exhibition.

During the event, Omirali Ismailov, Chairman of the Board of the Astana Artists’ Union, presented Nurbek Zhardemov with a certificate of appreciation from the capital’s Artists’ Union, as well as a special medal awarded by the Turkistan Region.

The exhibition is dedicated to the artist’s 55th anniversary. Addressing the audience at the opening, Nurbek Zhardemov said that a solo exhibition is both a major celebration and an important milestone in every artist’s career. «Every artist spends many years creating their works before presenting them to the public. I brought 50 paintings from the Akzhaiyk region, and they will be on display at the National Museum for nearly two months», the artist said.
