The National Museum hosted the final meeting of the General Editorial Board of the new seven-volume academic publication «The History of Kazakhstan from Ancient times to the Present day».
The initiative to prepare the multi-volume academic «History of Kazakhstan», developed in accordance with modern scholarly approaches and standards, was launched following the publication of the Head of State’s article «Independence Above All». This large-scale project aims to provide a comprehensive account of the millennia-long history of the Great Steppe, which unites the people of Kazakhstan through a shared historical destiny.
The meeting was chaired by Yerlan Karin, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the RK. With the participation of leading scholars serving on the Editorial Board, the participants reviewed the results of the final revisions to the seventh volume.
The General Editorial Board highly commended the work completed and approved the seventh volume, «Independent Kazakhstan», for publication.
Concluding the meeting, Yerlan Karin summarized the successful completion of the academic seven-volume publication «The History of Kazakhstan from Ancient times to the Present day» and ceremonially presented members of the Editorial Board with copies of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
