Organized by the Department of Museum Pedagogy and Children’s Creativity, a creative meeting titled «MUSEUM AND THEATER» was held within the framework of the «Dana» project.

The purpose of the event was to provide information about the relationship between museums and theaters as two of the highest forms of art, to promote various artifacts related to theater figures from the collection and exposition of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and to foster respect for theater masters.

The event featured actress Nuraiym Tezekbayeva from the Azerbaijan Mambetov State Drama and Comedy Theater and actor Beibarys Sarsen from the Kazakh National Musical Drama Theater named after Kalibek Kuanyshbayev, who shared their thoughts on theater with students.

The participants also discussed the current relevance and public demand for museums –sacred spaces connecting people with priceless historical artifacts – and theater as an inseparable part of human culture.

During the meeting, the audience enjoyed the original performance «Tagdyr» presented by the «ARTistikA» theater group of BINOM SCHOOL named after Akhmet Baitursynuly.

The event was attended by students of the Kazakh National University of Arts named after K. Bayseitova, the College of Management, Business and Education, the Astana ALT Transport College named after M. Tynyshbayev, the Higher College of the Eurasian Humanities Institute, as well as pupils of BINOM School named after A. Baitursynuly and Secondary School-Lyceum No. 98.
