"The Golden Man and the Great Steppe" Exhibition Attracts Over 1 Million Visitors in Tianjin

As part of Kazakhstan's Tourism Year in China, the Tianjin Museum has been hosting the exhibition "The Golden Man and the Great Steppe" from the collection of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan since September 2024. Over the past three months, the exhibition has attracted more than 1 million visitors, highlighting the strong interest in Kazakhstan's cultural heritage. The exhibition will run until February 2025.

Building on this successful collaboration, the Tianjin Museum's collection will be featured in an exhibition at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2025.

Berik Abdigaliuly met with the Director of the Tianjin Museum, Yao Yan. The parties discussed prospects for collaboration and signed a memorandum of cooperation, which will serve as a foundation for further cultural exchange and the implementation of joint projects.

The Tianjin Museum, founded in 1918, is one of the first museums established in China. Its collection includes ancient Chinese fine art and artifacts, such as calligraphy, paintings, bronze and jade items, ceramics, coins, and historical documents.
