Archeology of Kazakhstan
On November 12, 2021, at 15:00, the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will host a presentation of the scientific publication of K.M. Baypakov, J.K. Taymagambetov "Archeology of Kazakhstan", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the 75th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the 30th anniversary of the A.H. Margulan Institute of Archaeology and the 25th anniversary of L.N. Gumilev ENU. The purpose is to present a picture of the development of the ancient history of Kazakhstan, including the history of culture, the discoveries of domestic archaeologists, as well as the promotion of fundamental scientific work published in English. This scientific publication consists of an introduction, six chapters, a conclusion and an extensive list of references. The book is replete with well-thought-out drawings in the form of tables, plans, drawings and photo illustrations and is intended for students, undergraduates, doctoral students of higher educational institutions of the relevant profile, as well as for archaeologists, historians and everyone, including researchers from abroad, who are interested in the ancient and medieval history of Kazakhstan according to archaeological sources. Over the years of the existence of archaeological science in Kazakhstan, scientists have reproduced a relatively complete picture of the development of the ancient history of Kazakhstan, including the history of culture. It should be noted that for the first time in 1993 the textbook K.M. Baypakov, J.K.Taymagambetov, T.Zhumagambetov "Archeology of Kazakhstan" was published. The next edition of K.M. Baypakov, J.K. Taymagambetov on archeology was published in 2007 in Russian, and in 2009 in Kazakh. And it is not by chance that the book was published in universities. After all, it is at the university that the subject of archaeology is taught, archaeological expeditions are conducted, the question of training future archaeologists is raised and dissertations are defended. It is no secret that due to the global programs of the young state "Madeni Mura", "Rukhani Zhangyru" and its needs, there are not enough qualified personnel of archaeologists in research institutes, universities, local history and museum reserves to fulfill the tasks of archaeological heritage, museification of archaeological landscapes. The educational and scientific publication "Archeology of Kazakhstan" is in demand not only in universities of Kazakhstan, but also in foreign countries. The publication was awarded the silver medal of the Association of Higher Educational Institutions. The English version of "Archeology of Kazakhstan" by K.M. Baypakov, J.K. Taymagambetov, published in 2021, continues the traditions of the former. Archaeological materials testify to the multicomponent nature of the culture of Kazakhstan. Interaction and mutual influence of different cultures were the most important factor in the processes of politogenesis, cultural genesis and ethnogenesis. Largely due to archaeological data, it turned out that the Western Turkic, and then the Turgesh and Karluk khaganates, as well as the states of the Karakhanids, Oguz, Kipchaks, whose centers were located on the territory of Kazakhstan, are examples confirming the existence of medieval state formations in whose culture diverse ethnic traditions harmoniously merged. The discoveries of Russian archaeologists over the years of Independence have received official recognition, positive assessment on a union-wide and global scale. All this information is reflected in the proposed publication "Archeology of Kazakhstan". The event will be attended by government and public figures, scientists, as well as representatives of the creative intelligentsia.
