On November 11, 2021, at 15:00, the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will host the opening of the exhibition "Bokeev Horde - the heritage of the country", in honor of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the 220th anniversary of the Bokeev Horde, as well as the 180th anniversary of the first school in Kazakhstan – the Zhangirov School.
The purpose of the event is to promote the history of the Bokeev Horde, preserve the historical and cultural heritage of the region and promote the tourist development of the Khan Ordasy settlement founded by Khan Zhangir.
The exhibition will show more than two centuries of chronicle of the historical place founded by Bukey and transformed by Zhangir, where culture and art, education and trade developed in the XIX century.
Within the framework of the event, expositions on the themes "Bokei Khan", "Zhangir Khan", "Reforms in the Bokeev Horde", "Isatai-Makhambet", "The Period of the Provisional Council for the Management of the Inner Horde", "Outstanding personalities of the Bokeev Horde" and "Bokeyordinsky district" will be presented.
The republican scientific and practical conference on the theme "Bokeev Khanate - the homeland of civilization" will also be held within the framework of the event.
Museologists, historians, archaeologists, ethnologists, ethnographers, art historians and employees of research organizations are invited to participate in the conference.
It should be noted that the organizers of this event are the Akimat of the West Kazakhstan region, the Department of Culture of the West Kazakhstan region, the akimat of the Bokeyordinsky district and the West Kazakhstan Regional Historical, Cultural, Architectural and Ethnographic Museum-Reserve Khan Ordasy.
