Exhibition «Splendid Silk: Contemporary Chinese Silk Art»
On July 2, 2026, the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will host the opening of the international traveling exhibition «Splendid Silk: Contemporary Chinese Silk Art», organized in collaboration with the China National Silk Museum, the Huzhou Museum, and the Turpan Museum.
The exhibition introduces visitors to the rich heritage of Chinese silk culture and explores contemporary developments in silk art, where centuries-old traditions are harmoniously combined with modern artistic practices and innovative design approaches.
