the French delegation visited to the National Museum

On November 1, as part of French President Emmanuel Macron's official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, the French delegation paid a visit to the National Museum. The delegation was comprised of prominent figures including Amin Maalouf, Permanent Secretary of the French Academy, Yannick Lintz, President of the Guimet Museum, Jean-François Juche, President of INALCO, Frantz Grenet, a professor at the Collége de France, Pascal Lorot, President of the Institute Choiseul, Yaffa Assouline, the curator of the exhibition, representatives from the French Embassy and Professor Adriene Fauve, the director of the IFEAC. Arman Zhudebayev, the Deputy Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, welcomed the delegation and expressed a desire for cultural collaboration. Both parties discussed the National Exhibition of Kazakhstan in France and agreed to establish a memorandum of cooperation between the National Museum of Kazakhstan and the Guimet Museum in the future. During their visit, the delegation members were guided through the museum's exhibition halls. They expressed deep appreciation for the exhibits showcasing the culture of the steppe.
