Kazakhstan Museum Congress - a platform for expanding cooperation

As part of the Kazakhstan Museum Congress, the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed several memorandums of cooperation with international museums. These include: the National Museum of Iran, the National Silk Museum and the Shandong Provincial Museum of China, the Orenburg Governor's Historical and Regional Museum, and the Gallery of Fine Arts of Uzbekistan.

The memorandums outline the organization of exhibitions and the implementation of research projects aimed at fostering partnerships in promoting museum work.

During the Congress, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the A. Kasteyev State Museum of Arts and the National Silk Museum of China. The Azret Sultan State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve signed a memorandum with the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum and the Orenburg Governor's Historical and Regional Museum.

During the congress, it was announced that the A. Kasteyev State Museum of Arts and the Azret Sultan Museum-Reserve have joined the TURKSOY Museum Union.

As part of B2B meetings, Congress participants had the opportunity to analyze the prospects for mutual cooperation, understand the interests and needs of future partners, and discuss new ideas and projects. Over two days, several individual meetings were held:
- Negotiations between the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Silk Museum of China, and the Louvre Museum (France);
- The Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Universcience (France);
- A meeting between the Bozok State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve and the Center for National Monuments (CMN) and the National Institute of Preventive Archaeological Research (INRAP) of France;
- The National Museum of Iran and the Louvre Museum (France);- The TURKSOY Museum Union and Universcience (France);
- The State Historical Museum of Uzbekistan and the Center for National Monuments of France (CMN);
- The Shandong Provincial Museum (China) and Universcience (France);
- The National Museum of Tajikistan and the Center for National Monuments of France (CMN).
