More than 37,000 visitors attracted Leonardo da Vinci exhibition

From June 7 to August 4, 37,731 people visited the exhibition of Leonardo da Vinci's painting "La Bella Principessa" at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The exhibition of Leonardo da Vinci’s painting is a significant event in the cultural life of the country. Previously, "La Bella Principessa" was exhibited five times worldwide, attracting tremendous public interest.

"La Bella Principessa" is a portrait of a young girl belonging to the Italian aristocracy, created by Leonardo da Vinci in the late 15th century. The painting, which was lost and then rediscovered, is one of the most mysterious and captivating works of the master.

We had visitors who came to Astana from other cities specifically to see "La Bella Principessa." Some visitors, deeply moved by the magical power of art, visited the exhibition several times, spending hours admiring the painting and thanking the museum staff for the opportunity to see this masterpiece in person.

This is the second project by the National Museum, carried out with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy and the publishing house Scripta Maneant. In 2023, museum guests highly appreciated the digital immersive exhibition "Italian Renaissance – Eternal Beauty."

We extend our gratitude to the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Embassy of Italy, Scripta Maneant Publishing, ForteBank, and Mastercard for their support in organizing this unique exhibition.
