Exhibition of Leonardo da Vinci’s artwork «La Bella Principessa»
On June 7, 2024, the National Museum will host the opening of the «La Bella Principessa» exhibition.

One of Leonardo da Vinci’s most enigmatic and precious masterpieces - La Bella Principessa (The Beautiful Princess), a drawing from the Codex Sforziada of Warsaw, recognised as the profile of Bianca Giovanna Sforza, daughter of Ludovico il Moro and wife of Galeazzo Sanseverino, Captain General of the Moro army, and the master's only work on parchment, will be presented to the public in Kazakhstan.

La Bella Principessa is a portrait of a young girl from the Italian aristocracy, painted by Leonardo da Vinci at the end of the 15th century. The work, which was lost and then found, is one of the master's most mysterious and fascinating creations. The painting has only been exhibited five times in the world. Each time, it has aroused great interest among critics and the public.

We invite all residents and guests of the capital to visit the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan to personally appreciate the splendour of one of Leonardo da Vinci's rarest works.

An exhibition using immersive technology will be held from 7 June to 4 August in the Multimedia Hall at the 4th floor of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Tickets are available at the museum's ticket office and on the Ticketon website. The cost: 1000-1700 ₸ (depends on the category of visitors).
